Big Give: Instagram Live with Imogen Grant

Continuing our series of Big Give events, we are thrilled to be joined on Instagram Live by Imogen Grant, athlete and current World and European Champion rower in the lightweight double for Great Britain, a Tokyo Olympian, and an ambassador for The Rivers Trust.

As a rower, water is integral to Imogen's daily life, from training and racing to walks along the bank, with so much time around our rivers, she has observed the best and the worst that they have to offer. With magical moments such as sculling next to a seal being contrasted with rowing past discarded fridges, Imogen has certainly experienced the worrying impacts of pollution first-hand.

Imogen will be joining us from a training camp in Portugal to have a chat with our Marketing and Campaigns Lead Emma Brisdion about sustainability, the role that athletes can play in protecting and improving rivers for all users and for wildlife, and how we are exploring these issues together.

We are hosting this event as part of our Big Give campaign, where we are aiming to raise £75,000 between 28th November and 5th December.
