Big Give: Jack Perks in conversation with Will Millard

Jack Perks has worked with The Rivers Trust for several years and in 2023 became an official ambassador. As a renowned underwater wildlife cameraman and a keen angler, he is a great supporter of our work to restore rivers, remove barriers to fish migration, and install riparian buffer zones. For this event as part of our Big Give campaign, Jack will be in conversation with Will Millard, a fellow angler as well as a writer and television presenter.

Anglers are often referred to as custodians of the waterways, and Jack Perks is a passionate advocate for river user groups and conservationists working together to solve the wider problems facing rivers today. This makes him the ideal ambassador for The Rivers Trust, as anglers played a fundamental role in the formation of our movement nearly thirty years ago.

This promises to be a wide-ranging conversation between friends, from what Jack and Will love so much about working in the water, to how the angling community can play a continuing role in restoring our rivers to a healthy, natural state.

We are hosting this event as part of our Big Give campaign, where we are aiming to raise £75,000 between 28th November and 5th December.
