These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Big River Watch mobile application (the "App") provided by The Rivers Trust ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the App, you represent and warrant that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organisation, you also represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and disclose your information.
3. License and Use
Restrictions: You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Use the App in any way that is illegal or in violation of these Terms.
4. User Content
When you use the application and make observations and upload photos you are agreeing that:
- The content is yours or you have the permission of the owner to agree to this usage, and
- The observations you submit can be used by The Rivers Trust and published under the terms of the follow license Creative Commons CC0 (no rights reserved): https://creativecommons.org/share-your-work/public-domain/cc0/ (we will not publish your personal data - this is securely managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy)
Prohibited Content: You may not submit or upload content that is unlawful, infringes on intellectual property rights, violates these Terms, or is otherwise objectionable.
5. Updates and Changes
We may, from time to time, update or change the App, including adding or removing features to further improve the App. You agree that we may do so without prior notice and without any liability to you.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at our discretion, without notice, for any reason, including, but not limited to, a breach of these Terms.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
