The Topsoil project brings together partners from Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and the UK to explore and develop management solutions to a number of shared challenges across the North Sea Region.
Challenges that the project is addressing include groundwater flooding, saline intrusion, balancing the demands on limited water resources, improving the management of soils and understanding the breakdown and pathways of pollutants in the subsurface.
The project is funded by the Interreg, North Sea Region Programme, financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
