WaterCoG

The WaterCoG project brings together partners from Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Netherlands and the UK to determine the benefits of a more collaborative (Co-Governance) approach to water management.

Working with partners in the EU to enable effective stakeholder and community participation in water management.

The WaterCoG project brings together partners from Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Netherlands and the UK to determine the benefits of a more collaborative (Co-Governance) approach to water management.

Project partners will share knowledge on existing governance structures within the North Sea Region and implement new approaches to water management that increase the level of active stakeholder participation.

Existing tools that help facilitate the adoption of successful participatory approaches will be collated, alongside with new tools developed within the project to provide a toolbox for wider uptake across the North Sea Region.

The project is funded by the Interreg, North Sea Region Programme, financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

Find out more by visiting the EU North sea region website.
